SkyQuotaX 2.0 Released - with Telenet support !
SkyQuotaX 2.0 is available and it supports Telenet accounts. As with Skynet accounts, you can choose whether you want to see the used or remaining qouta. As Telenet differentiates between download en upload limits, the upload quota is also displayed in the Growl messages. The menubar contains the total used or remaining quota.
“Connection log” retrieval will be coming soon. “Webspage usage” will not be implemented for Telenet users. I made use of the official Telemeter4Tools server API that Telenet provides (I wish Skynet had something like it).
Download it here: SkyQuotaX.

It’s a nice program and it’s good and stable. But when checking it’s RAM-usage I saw a shocking 40,03MB (program was in use for one hour). In comparison: Quicktime with the welcomescreen open (iTunes commercial and stuff) uses 20,96MB. So I have to conclude that the program needs some fine-tuning.
Cheers,
BlankStar
PS Keep up the good work, it’s a nice program and the growl support is neat.

Yes, I agree, memory usage is not optimal. The main reason for that is because it is written in Java. Similar programs also written in Java take up equal amounts of memory. I’m looking into porting it to the native Objective-C language in the future which should drastically cut back memory usage.
